It is our common friend Thierry * who introduced Harold and I few years back. Harold is to me one of the most lovable personality in the Industry: on top of his quite outstanding journey with the sport, Harold is a nice, approachable and fun person –with one particular sign for a pro in this industry: a very healthy ego!  Pro rider at his debuts, Harold is today a hell of a wave rider but before all, a very busy businessman!
Wax up, agency mixing movie production, web developing, event organisation and web marketing specialised in extreme sports, is the result of years of hard work. It would be way too long to develop the extensions of Wax-up concept, but basically, Harold is all over the place.
Because he must have been an octopus in another life, Harold has an incredible ability to multiply his skills and tasks, and like if running Wax Up wasn’t enough, he added couple of years ago “Riders Match” to his already impressive resume.
 Riders Match is an “Online World Contest”, a competition addressed to professionals, amateurs, men and women in Surf, Skate, Bike, Windsurf, Kitesurf, Wakeboard, Crew and Crash. Videos are submitted and rated by users, and this website has become today a reference in extreme sports videos from all horizons.  Harold is a brilliant individual, healthy mind in an healthy body, dotted with a brain that seems to function twice faster than the average human being’s.
He’s got a very strong drive and the right attitude: friendly, open minded and approachable. Sharing ideas with him is always some sort of adventure: Harold, behind is very mellow temper, is constantly boiling inside, he’s always got ten different projects cooking, most often than not being one step ahead of everybody. He’s currently working on an enormous project, which he started already couple of years ago, and which I expect to have the effect of a bomb within the community: stay tuned on what this bright man is up to, there are some real good things ahead!  Last but not least, I’ve shared some of my best kitesurfing sessions with Harold: he’s tonnes of fun to ride with, inspiring and humble.
