Vincent has the patience of an angel and a great understanding of human emotions. He’s an easy going, happy, fun person, a sailor at soul –safe and confident- and a great dad.
I can’t really recall when I met Captain Vincent the very first time but I will always remember what allowed us to build a strong friendship (it’s right here, in front of me –in front of you-)..
When we met, he was already a very experienced sailor and all rounded waterman.
I was a dedicated rider obsessed with that kitesurfing cruise idea I had in mind for already 5 years: I had found the place for developing it, but that still wasn’t sufficient to make it happen: I needed a boat, I needed a Captain and I needed to go on an exploration.
Captain Vincent was the one who believed in me and offered me to use his boat and captaining skills to put my dream together.
 The following months allowed us to share one incredible human experience and adventure, that still goes on today.*
Vincent and I have a serious bond: we did all of Kitesurfari Sxm’s fuck ups together, lol. He did my safety back up on all the downwinders, cross islands and remote spots I tested. We shared his first kitesurfing lesson, his first drown I-phone, my first drift along the coastal cliffs and my “oops it’s too shallow” moments…
He taught me how to adjust a mainsail and read a tell-tale, I taught him how not oversheet a kite and read its language from a distance.
 We came up together with the best rescue techniques in open ocean, with the best boat launching procedures, we did it all. Together.
Vincent may not be the greatest kitesurfer, but when it comes to look after them and take the right decision at the right time, he has by far earnt his place in here! Creating Kitesurfari Sxm having Captain Vincent by my side has been a never ending laugh and I love working with him.
Did I say “working”? LOL. Not really…
