"Pierre and I first got in touch back in 2005, when I was in Fiji setting up a kitesurfing school while he was running his in French Polynesia. We spoke about working together at the time -but then I somehow went West instead of East and ended up in Sydney-.* Hazard finally made us meet the very first day I landed in St Maarten in 2008 *: Pierre offered me to live on one of his boats, and I ended up feeling so comfortable at his dock that the situation, meant to be temporary, extended to months. Pierre played a big role in the fact life immediately got sweet to me when I got to SXM. It was fantastic to have him around: he took me to the kitesurfing spots, introduced me to his friends and took me sailing. That's just Pierre: probably one of the last philantropic people on earth! :)
Pierre is a happy, friendly and generous personality, easy going and fun, and it’s almost impossible not to get along with him. Very experienced sailor, he is an incredible –and very humble- kitesurfer as well as a very experienced instructor. He’s got solid professional background both in the yachting and kitesurfing industries, he knows the surrounding waters like his pocket and his a fantastic entertainer. Father of a gorgeous little boy, Pierre is always smiling and it’s always been and still is a pleasure for me to work, sail, kite or party with him!
